In the work we do as a charity, sadly there Cancer doesn’t always give us the time to make the Dream a reality. However we know it’s just as important for a family to re-unite after it’s sad loss. Cancer doesn’t just impact the patient, it hits all that surround it. The patient carries the physical burden but the family also suffer the mental scars.

“We’ve had an absolutely fab weekend away at Orchard Cottage in Ashbourne Derbyshire. Absolutely stunning cottage and surrounding areas.

It was all organised by Evestrust, originally we were going away as a family with Tony but sadly he passed away just a short of 12 weeks after being diagnosed with terminal bile duct cancer. Unfortunately it meant we didn’t make it to the weekend that was originally organised. Clynton held the weekend for myself and the children to be able to go and relax and spend time together. Its been a very tough and heartbreaking time since we said goodbye to Tony, and this weekend has been such a nice treat for us, we cannot say thank you enough.

Of course we brought Tony with us he couldn’t miss out on all the fun 💙thank you again it’s been amazing 💕”
