Oasis Dental Care is part of a corporate group, delivering NHS, Private and Basics treatments. We have in excess of 340 practices across the UK and Ireland. Oasis support a charity called Bridge to Aid and often do charity events to support this fantastic charity, however the company wanted each practice to get involved in what they called Super Saturday and asked each practice to open and raise money for bridge to aid… and a local charity of their choice, they also asked us to theme our day.. Whatever the practice raised they then paid 30% to Bridge to Aid. Our charity got 100% of the funds raised,
As most of the staff are Askern residents we had heard of the fantastic job Eve Merton were doing and it had helped some of our patients so we felt your charity was the one we wanted to support.

Superheroes theme

We chose our theme as superheroes and on the day we all wore super hero t-shirts. We held a raffle in the practice where local businesses, staff and patients fetched raffle prizes in. The local Rock of Ages, Evangelical Church donated £300.00.

The tickets were sold the week before and after the event to help raise as much as we could. On the day we also had a colouring competition for the children and did face painting. The whole of the practice really enjoyed the day bearing in mind not many of them work Saturday. With the kind donation and the money which was raised the total was £450.00
