Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge

On the 14th May Jim and Jackie’s niece Rachel Hudson and her husband Wayne Hudson set off on the grueling task of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge with the aim to “Pay it Forward” and help raise money to benefit others. Of course Jim and Jackie’s dream was our first charity wedding and will live in memory for everyone at the charity as I’m sure it will their families. The total amount raised was a massive £744! Rachel said, “What the charity did for Jackie meant a lot to everyone, especially the family, obviously we wanted to give something back.”

The Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge is approximately 24 miles and takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours….
Pen-y-ghent (694m or 2,277ft)
Whernside (736m or 2,415ft)
Ingleborough (723m or 2,372ft)
