Mama Mia, What a Show

Angela’s Dream brought a theatre trip to see Mamma Mia with her family.

The below is the story of a mother with a wish, and a daughter who made it possible:

“I have been having cancer treatment since May. I had seen ‘Mama Mia the Party’ on Facebook every day and it looked absolutely brilliant. Sadly the tickets were expensive at the time, but I would have loved to take my daughters to see it. They have been incredible and supported me all the way through this cancer nightmare, from diagnosis and treatment and I couldn’t thank them enough.

In September I finished my chemotherapy and rang the bell! A very happy moment for us all. However, I didn’t know my daughter Kirsty had been in touch with Eves Trust about me, and they’d been back in touch with her, making plans together. They told her they would provide 3 tickets to see the show I’d been watching everyday on Facebook and desperate to go to. I couldn’t believe it!

We travelled to London to the O2 to see the show and I was so emotional when I saw it, like everything from the last year all rushed to the surface, but I was in a good place, sharing a dream with my daughters. It was one of the Best shows I have ever seen. I cannot thank the charity and everyone who supports them enough. I still have to have more treatment, but fingers crossed, I am hopeful. Thank you All.xx”
