Local Hero Award 2024 – Martin Lawrence

Our very own co-founder and Head of Operations, Martin Lawrence, has been named “EE Home Customer Care, Local Hero” at their 2024 Spotlight Awards. Further nominated for their National Awards in October.

Martin is currently managing our partnership with EE & Plusnet, as part of their Community Champion project. They have committed 4 months of weekly support to complete the charities Memorial Garden & 3rd layer to its “EvesTrust Peer Support”.

That partnership will see hundreds of EE & Plusnet staff, dedicate their official volunteering hours to complete our 2 year long project.
Martin has been honoured by EE & Plusnet for his selfless dedication to help make a difference in his local community. As not only a co.founder of the charity but as the direct lead for fundraising that has gone on to raise over £1.3million.
