A couple of months ago I came up with an idea to raise money for a charity . We decided we should support the Eve Merton Dreams Trust. We all know the local charity through our former P.E. teacher – Mr Siddle- who sadly passed away last year.
Next we had to choose what way we should raise the money for the charity until eventually I came up with the idea of a disco. Unfortunately, there was one problem which caused a major set-back : SATS! Finally SATS were over and my mum messaged the charity and told them about it. After a lot of help and support from my parents, Mrs Crayton at Copley junior school and friends we had the date and venue all set ready for the big day . Our next job was to get it out there and let people know what’s happening. Luckily the disco was a great success thanks to my family, Mrs Crayton and my friends – Emily, Zoe and their mum Sue . All in all we raised £205.60 for the amazing charity which helps cancer patients in Doncaster fulfil their dreams.
