A Magical Experience
The below is Bev’s story, written by Bev best friend Emma.
“My friend Bev was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer, following lots of grueling treatment sessions we wanted to lift her mood and make as many memories as possible with her!
We got in touch with Evestrust and was quickly assigned a Dreams Coordinator, Baileigh, she explained the process of a dream to us and we thought it all sounded amazing. We’d always wanted to try the Harry Potter studio tour as we’re huge fans of the series. We were so excited when this didn’t seem to be a problem for the charity who straight away booked our tour tickets and travel and also an incredible apartment for 5 of us to stay in! The whole thing was just magical and exactly what was needed.
So, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support we’ve received from Evestrust in making this happen for Bev. Your generosity and kindness have truly made a difference during a challenging time; this trip provided not only a much-needed escape but also precious memories that we will cherish forever.
Thank you for being such a wonderful organisation for local people, the compassion you show to those in need, we are deeply grateful for your help and will always remember the joy you brought into our lives by accommodating this request, as always a massive thank you to our Baileigh too!”
