Charity Poker Night with Eve's TrustOn Saturday November 1st 2014 the followers of Eve’s Trust turned out once more in force for our annual Charity Poker Tournament.

Players make their own donations and battle it out for the title of “Eve’s Trust Poker Champion” for 2014.

This year saw a total of 64 players battle it out on our Charity Poker Night in the fun filled event. Participants were treated to a table side drinks service and professional tournament refereeing from the trio representing, headed by the ever reliable Adam Stride.

The poker was played in a relaxed atmosphere with a fantastic mixture of willing amateurs and keen poker faces. All of which being left stunned when Daniel “Maverick” Stoakes laid down the infamous ROYAL FLUSH in a blaze of glory to clean up his table!!

Despite that moment of ecstasy Daniel was not to be the Eve’s Trust Champion. That title did also not belong to Matt Griffiths, nor did it belong to multi time finalist James Terry…….that title belonged to STEVE GRIFFIN!!

Steve battled on all night and with the memory of finishing just outside the final table on each of the previous 3 years, to beat the crafty poker genius Bill Golding in the final one on one face off.

Steve was a very worthy winner but it has to be said, all 64 players acquitted themselves well and will be back with vengeance next year.
