CHAMPIONS – Eve’s Trust win Dragon Boat Challenge 2015

Saturday July 11th saw the 6th instalment of the Dragon Boat challenge in support of Doncaster charity Aurora.

30 teams took part and as usual The Eve Merton Dreams Trust turned out in force with rowers and supporters entering no less than 5 boats into the event.

It was another fantastic day in the sun with every team giving their all for the charity. Powered by emotion and a will to succeed, charity team “EMDT Rampton Raiders” rose to the challenge and ended up winning the whole event in a tight, exciting final. In fact the winning margin was a mere 0.4 seconds from a valiant runner-up, Danum Round Table.

It goes without saying the Trust will be back in 2016 to defend its title.
