I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Eve’s Trust, for an amazing day out. Alfie was diagnosed last October with a very nasty rare cancer by the name of Neuroblastoma. As you might expect, this has resulted in Alfie spending a lot of his childhood in a hospital ward. Alfie being the boy he is tries not to let this get him down, even on days when it finds it hard to move you’ll find him trying to entertain himself with his Lego. Due to this, finding out he was going going to Lego Land made him VERY happy!!
It was an amazing two days, water rides, Lego, pirates which he loves and so much more. Thank you so much to The Eve Merton Dreams Trust for the great memories that we’ll now treasure.
Alfie’s story, like many others, is such a sad one to hear. It’s plain to see he is clearly a very brave little boy who is so naturally happy with all he does. We were eager to be able to do something, anything to help add another smile to this naturally smiley boys face. We as a trust are obviously very happy that everybody enjoyed their day at Lego Land and will hopefully enjoy the memories and countless photographs for years to come. xXx
